Announcing FREE ALRC Club Stands and Race2Recovery

Dear fellow Club Secretaries, Webmasters and Editors

Planning is well underway for the 2012 event hosted by Lincolnshire Land Rover Club and Peak & Dukeries Land Rover Club at Belvoir Castle near Grantham. The site has excellent road links and is only a few miles from the A1 on the A52.

The site has a level well drained camping field. The competition area is in a wooded valley adjacent to the field featuring a variety of terrain from forestry tracks to a disused quarry face. There will be events throughout the weekend in the arena and in the competition arena adjacent to the caravan field.

We would like to invite all ALRC member clubs to have a FREE trade stand around the arena(camping not included). You can show off vehicles and show off your club activities. For more details contact Sam at

The event will have "Something for everyone" ...  Members will get:-

Landy Watch - Nationwide network for stolen Land Rovers and parts

LandyWatch is a new organization who are trying to create a network of Land Rover owners to look out for and try to recover stolen Land Rovers. Working with the police and security companies to give it's members advice and assistance and generally trying to make Land Rovers a less attractive target to thieves.
It's much like a neighborhood watch idea but for Land Rovers.
Obviously an organization like this relies quite heavily on it's members "eyes and ears" and becomes more and more effective as it grows. With this in mind it would be great if you could take the time to check out Landy Watch and hopefully join. It's free to register and only takes a few mins.
